Roy x Ed

“If he called me down here just to make another short joke, I’m going to punch him in the face” Ed thought, as he made his way towards Mustang’s office. This was not the first time Mustang had called Edward Elric to his office without warning. Usually it was about some new assignment or some paperwork the general wanted him to fill out. Ed had to admit that he didn’t mind visiting Mustang all that much. Mustang and Ed had become closer over the years and now were mutual friends. But recently Mustang had been calling Ed to his office for no apparent reason. Something about the general seemed a little strange lately. Ed couldn’t put his finger on it but something was going on. “I wish I knew why the general was acting so…. Different” Ed mumbled under his breath as he neared Roy’s office.  

The more Ed tried to shake the feeling of worry, the more it persisted. He hated admitting to himself that he was actually worried about general Mustang. So as he reached for the doorknob he attempted to clear his head a bit. “It’s probably just more paperwork,” he told himself reassuringly and pulled the door open.

General Roy Mustang was sitting at his desk, which was covered with mass amounts of unfinished paperwork, as usual. The general’s dark eyes looked up and met Ed’s for a split second.  Ed felt an unfamiliar shiver run up his spine and broke the gaze.
“You wanted to see me general” Ed said, forcing a smile and reaching up to scratch the back of his head, trying to ignore the fact that his heart was pounding.
“Ahhh, Yes, fullmetal, I almost didn’t see you there over all this paperwork.”    
Just as Ed had though, Mustang had cracked another short joke. Of Corse Ed’s temper quickly got the best of him.  In one fluid motion, Ed went around Mustangs desk and pinned him up against the wall, knocking over several piles of paperwork in the process.  
“Did you call me all the way down here, just to make another short joke!?!” Ed exclaimed, tightening his grip on Mustang’s wrists and unintentionally moving their bodies closer to the wall.
“What is going on with you lately? You are always calling me down her for no reason, and…..” Ed’s voice trailed off as his eyes met the general’s. His heart began to pound faster, as he looked deep into the general’s eyes. Ed’s face flushed red as he noticed that he was uncomfortably close to the general. The strange thing was that there was nothing uncomfortable about it. He liked being close to Mustang.

Mustang moved his lips right up to Ed’s ear. Ed could feel mustang’s warm breath on his neck.
“I didn’t call u down here to make jokes,” mustang whispered “I just … I had to see you.” Ed could hear the venerability in Roy’s voice, which was strange. Many things Ed new Roy to be, but venerable was not one of them. Mustang moved his head back to its position against the wall.
“General…” Ed tried to say something. He was feeling so much and many things were new to him. He wasn’t sure how to say how he was feeling. In fact he wasn’t sure what he was feeling. Yet, he refused to let go of mustang’s wrists and kept the generals body pinned between him and the wall.
“Please, call me Roy.” Mustang said plainly

At that moment something came over Ed, he leaned forward and gently pressed his lips against mustangs, and to Ed’s surprise mustang kissed back. Ed pulled his lips away in shock and eased his grip on mustang’s wrists. Roy saw the opportunity to take control and seized it.  He quickly changed their positions, pinning Ed up against the wall hard, and pulling their bodies even closer together.
Ed looked back at mustang with confusion.  “Is this really happening” Ed thought to himself.  He didn’t plan on kissing mustang, it just happened, and he defiantly didn’t expect the general to kiss back. Ed attempted to pull his thoughts together. There was so much going on and he didn’t know what to say or do.  He looked into Roy’s eyes again searching for an answer to all the questions that were buzzing in his head. The deeper Ed looked into Roy’s eyes the more he realized that he was very attracted to Mustang. That of course made Ed more confused.  Mustang could see the confusion on Ed’s face, so he started to ease back a bit, loosening his grip and bringing space between them.
“No don’t… I liked u there” Ed said through his haze of confusion.  
A smile crept over the general’s face. “I liked me there too…..” he hesitated a moment “Are you sure you are ok with this Ed??” he questioned. Mustang cared far too much for Ed to make him do anything that he didn’t feel comfortable with.
“ ye… yes” Ed stammered
Mustang couldn’t help smiling. He brought their bodies close together again and raised one hand to brush Eds golden Hair off of his blushing cheek.  Roy leaned in, Ed braced himself, and their lips met again.  Ed could feel Roy’s body press closer into his. He could feel his heart beating faster and faster as the kiss continued. He opened his mouth slightly to take in some air. Mustang felt this and gently slid his tongue into Ed’s mouth.  At that Ed wrapped his arms around mustang’s shoulders and pulled him closer. They kissed passionately, each exploring the others mouth with their tongue.  They kissed each other deeper and deeper moving closer together.

Mustang attempted to step back a bit and removed his coat but slid on one of the papers on the floor and fell back. He landed hard on the ground. Ed looked down at the general , jacket half of lying on the floor. He laughed quietly to himself as he removed his own jacket. He undid his shirt a little and then straddled mustang. Mustang naturally flipped Ed over so that he was on top, he liked being in control.  Mustang proceeded to take of his jacket. Then he began Kissing Ed’s lips, then along his jaw, then nibbled his ear lobe.  Ed let out a small moan of shear pleasure as Roy continued to move lower kissing his neck.
In that moment Ed realized where he was. Both of them were half naked on the floor of mustang’s office in the middle of the day. Anyone could walk in and see everything. He knew he never wanted this to end,  but If they were discovered…. Ed didn’t know if he could handle that.
“Wait” Ed whispered
Roy stared back at Ed with surprise. “ I’m sorry did I go too far….” Mustang trailed off as he moved his eyes to stare at the floor of the office.
“No it’s not that” Eds reply was quick “ it’s just… what if someone …. Well, walks in on us or something… I mean we are in your office in the middle of the day.”
“Oh” Roy said with relief, “that’s a good point… I almost forgot that we are in my office.”
Roy slid back and leaned against the wall, Ed still lying on the floor in a mess of unfinished paperwork. Mustang closed his eyes in an attempt to think.
“ I…. I could come to your place tonight.” Ed said breaking the silence. “ I mean if that’s ok with you”
“ It sounds like a plan to me, fullmetal” said the general as a devilish half smile lit up his face. “ I’ll give you the address and a key just in case you get there before me… I should be out of here by about 5… you can come over whenever you want.”
Both men then stood up and dressed themselves. Ed started to pick up the paperwork from the floor and threw it on the general’s desk. The general sat back down in his office chair. The general scribbled down an address and pulled a key out of his pocket. He handed this to Ed. Ed then  turned to leave the office.
“ One more thing fullmetal” the general said as he motioned for Ed to come stand in front of him. Ed quickly turned around and stood in front of Roy, looking deep into his eyes. Roy grabbed Ed’s shirt collar, pulling his face close and bringing their lips together again. It was a short but passionate kiss. Eds heart began to race again as he smiled and turned to leave the office again.
“ See you tonight…. Roy” Ed said in a small voice as he left the office.
“I’ll be counting the seconds” Roy responded as the office door closed.
